DuoHeat dual-purpose units
The DuoHeat range does two jobs from one unit: warm floors through winter and a warm pool through summer — a seasonal split, so one machine covers both. NZ-made Performance Plus, titanium inside.
The range
Pick the output for your pool and floors; the ‘Ub’ versions add an underfloor buffer tank and pump built in.
One unit: 15 kW to the pool in summer, 10 kW to the floors in winter.

Pool and underfloor outputs are nominal ratings; pool sizing also depends on covers and exposure. We’ll size the unit to both jobs before we quote.

It does both across the year, not both flat-out at the same moment: the floors are the winter job and the pool the summer one, so a single well-sized unit covers the seasonal split. Controls decide what gets priority.
Both. We can supply a unit to your own installer, or design and install the whole system ourselves and tie it into your floors, pool or hot water as needed.
The ‘Ub’ models have an onboard buffer tank and circulation pump built in, so there’s less to plumb and less plant-room space needed. The plain ‘U’ models leave the buffer and pump to be specified separately — handy when they’re shared with other equipment.
The Performance Plus range carries a two-year labour and three-year parts warranty covering the compressor, coil, heat exchanger and refrigeration system, and the titanium heat-exchanger tube is covered against corrosion for 30 years (10 years on the commercial models).
