What area do you cover?

Auckland-wide. North Shore, Hibiscus Coast, Central, the Eastern Bays, West Auckland, Waiheke, and up through Omaha and Matakana. If you are outside that, ring us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people.

Do you do the work yourselves or subcontract it?

Our own people do the hydronic work. That is the whole point of us: the person who designed the system is in the same business as the person who installs it and the person who comes back to service it.

Question 3

Do you only do new builds?

Accepted Answer

No. Roughly speaking it is a three-way split: new builds and renovations, replacements of old systems &mdash; electric boilers, tired gas boilers, failed heat pumps &mdash; and servicing systems that other people installed.

Do you sell equipment without installing it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to trade and to competent DIYers on the right jobs. Ask for a price and tell us what it is going into; we will not sell you a unit that is wrong for the job just because you asked for it.

Question 5

Why do you not do air conditioning?

Accepted Answer

Because we are not an air conditioning company and pretending otherwise would make us worse at what we do. We do water-based heating: floors, radiators, hot water and pools. If you want cooling, we will happily point you at someone good.

Do you offer finance?

Accepted Answer

Talk to us. Depending on the job there are options, and for replacements there are sometimes efficiency programmes worth checking. We will tell you what we know and where to look.

Question 7

What guarantees do you give?

Accepted Answer

Manufacturer warranties on the equipment, which vary by product and which we confirm in writing on the quote, plus our own guarantee on workmanship. We are still here in year ten, which is the part that actually matters.
