Questions about the units
Why aren’t the prices shown?
Because every pool is different, we price each job individually. Tell us your pool size, where you are and how you heat it now, and we’ll send you a price for the right-sized unit — supplied, or supplied and installed.
Do you install these, or just supply them?
Both. We can supply a unit to your own installer, or design and install the whole system ourselves — including tying it into your existing pool filtration and, if you want, running your floors and hot water off heat pumps too.
Which unit do I need?
As a rough guide, match the “suits pools up to” figure to your pool’s surface area — but that’s indicative only. Covers, wind exposure, wet edges and target temperature all change it, so we’ll do a proper sizing calculation before we quote. Ask and we’ll work it out with you.
What warranty do they come with?
The Performance Plus residential range carries a two-year labour and three-year parts warranty covering the compressor, evaporator coil, heat exchanger and refrigeration system, and the titanium heat-exchanger tube is covered against corrosion for 30 years.
Are they suitable for the coast?
Yes. Heavy galvanised steel cabinetry with a powder-coat finish and epoxy-coated evaporator fins give extra corrosion resistance in salt-laden coastal air, and the heat exchanger is titanium. They are engineered and built in New Zealand.
